Hey Frank,
Yeah, I got my TNT/FedEx tracking number yesterday with a delivery for tomorrow. If it makes it (6" of snow here) I can give you feedback on everything except the installation. Right now the SVR is stored on the top of my lift with the Corvette on the bottom. I'm hoping you guys can provide the install photos...
Thanks,
Steve

You think the top of the F-Type engine is ugly...wait 'til you see what what the top of a Kohler CH-20 looks like.

The Eagle Has Landed!

FedEx just delivered a large29" x 29" x 8.5" very light factory sealed Jaguar OEM square box with extra corner protectors and extra edge protectors. It also had "FRAGILE" tape all over it. Took a few minutes just to figure out how to open the box - armed with a letter opener and a pair of scissors I surgically prevailed! Only to discover more bubble wrap then I could ever imagine someone could stuff in the box. This was partly because the bubble wrap in the box expanded up here at 6,000 ft.. Another few minutes. Then I got to the foam wrapping which (thank god) was the last layer of protection. So, after a full 20+ minutes of carefully unpacking, the contents were reveled! An absolutely drop dead gorgeous carbon fiber engine cover!!! It was a wonderful piece of artwork, in perfect condition - could have been dropped from a two story building and wouldn't have been damaged.

I'm sure those of you who ordered one you will be very, very, very pleased. Please send pictures when you get yours installed.

Lastly, Kudo's to Geoff for providing such a sweet deal!

Feral SVR

No kidding, it’s like one of those infomercials where they promise to give you a secret to a happier life in “just a moment” only to get a sales offer 3 hours later.

Give him a break, after all it took 20 minutes to unwrap this package. I'm sure a photo will be forthcoming. I'm certainly looking forward to seeing it. Mine should be arriving on Friday.

Nope - I have an eBay business (side hustle) and I pack and unpack stuff every day. If there is enough time to write a detailed and borderline-poetic post about bubble wrap, he has time to post a photo of what it was protecting. The cover takes exactly 3 seconds to R/R and unless he has a Flintstone camera and is waiting on the bird to carve the image with its beak, a photo takes about the same amount of time.

Okay,

Truth be told, I'm not a photographer. There is no way that I could replicate what the cover really looks like. At least no better then photo's currently on the internet. I'm sure one of you will do it justice and post your pics in the next few days. As to my friend GG's comment; You can just consider me to be that guy with a Flintstone camera and is waiting on the bird to carve the image with its beak...

Have a Happy Thanksgiving Guys!

Did you polish the waffle yourself? If so, did you remove it first or just do it in the bay?

yeah... it does look like a waffle iron. I actually bought a used “waffle” and had it polished before I did an R&R. I didn’t want the car to be on the sideline while the cover was being polished.

Default Carbon fiber engine cover

The cover was delivered today packaged very securely as Feral described. Geoff team definitely knows how to send fragile packages!! It looks amazing and now enhances the f type engine compartment as it should be. To say I’m very pleased would be a understatement.

To put a final point on this, Geoff delivered on time with an excellent item at the right price!, photos of item as it was removed from a very secured cardboard package. And yes it did take time to open package and extract a beautiful carbon fiber engine cover.
I hope this helps anyone looking for this item or something else from Adamesh limited, highly recommended.

Proof positive that I could not come close to Frank's photographic prowess! To come even close to Franks ambiance, I'd have to have taken the cover over to my neighborhood winery! Well Done!
