Round three finally fixed my speaker rattle issues. Passenger seat subwoofer has a child seat tab that was loose and rattling. While trouble shooting my car I wandered into the new showroom. Shame this color is only available on the BDE and SVR.

 

Great looking color. I think black pack would be my preference over chrome.

Tell us more about child seat tab;where exactly is this insidious piece? Behind the seat on passenger side? Where there other fixes made previously?

 

I want that color......my next one for sure. my wife did hint that having a coup to go with the vert might be nice so i better see my finance guy!

I sold my Estoril Blue 435i when I bought my BRG F-Type.

 

Similar but my two favorite blues are French Racing Blue and BMW's Yaz Marina Blue

Must be something wrong with me. That color does nothing for me. Probably my least favorite of any of the colors. BRG & IRR right on top.

 

I would pick this interior and the black pack.

 

My Vin number fell within the TSB for the rattle fix and the kit was applied. They also informed me as they perform these fixes they learn more about where rattles happen. They found my drivers door was causing a rattle they never heard before. This little tab in the corner of the subwoofer was just loose enough to vibrate making me think it was the rear package tray. Felt tape was applied to put more tension on connection.

 

How about this green? Just kidding....

 

I checked the Merdian 770w thread and didn't see a post from you. If you don't mind it would be helpful if you could summarize your experience and fix over there. Thanks.

I'll summarize my thoughts after a couple of days to make sure no more rattle/buzzing issues arise.

 

When I was going through the process of ordering my BMW 435i, my wife begged me to get a color other than silver. She said that she really liked the blue. I think silver looks much better, but decided to go with her opinion just to change things up a little. To this day I think the Estoril Blue just looks OK. However, I got more complements on the color of that car in two years than all the other cars I've ever owned combined. Chicks really love that type of blue for some reason.
