I wouldn't worry too much, it's not anywhere near as good looking as the F type.

Wow, to bad if it ever gets to production they will f*** it up. But to me it looks as beautiful as the F type. But depends on it's dimensions, if it's sized similar to F type, but if it's sized close to Camaro dimensions, it will be too large.

Great looking, but +1 that it's still a Buick and that they will find a way to dull down the cost and f*** it up in the process.

It is built off of the same platform (Alpha) as the Camaro and Cadillac ATS / CTS.

Yes, but it's not the recent Camaro chassis, but new on the "new-gen" '16 Camaro. It was an entirely new platform for the ATS and has received rave reviews on it's capability.

I wouldn't diss Buick too much. I think they're going to sneak up on a lot of people.

They could build on the new Camaro chassis, but the car needs to be size of F type or Corvette to be competitive. Regardless if it's Buick, it is still beautiful car.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Besides, you have an original! Make that two originals!

Here in Oz this car is being touted as the new Monaro, see here:
It?s a new Holden Monaro, but not as we know it
You Yanks got the last Monaro for a while back in the mid 2000s, it was badged as a Pontiac GTO.

The sides are all F-Type, the front and back all Buick. Ugly coming and going, but beautiful flying by.

That's a great looking concept car. It looks alot like Hyundai Genesis coupe. GM won't build it. They just have never sold many two seaters. I have been a Buick fan and owned several early Rivieras for many years. Rivs were great, but they were always too big. At least you could fit a couple of adults in the back seats.

I honestly don't get all the gushing over this car. The Mazda RX concept was much better IMO. It has two doors like the F-type?

Buick has designed some beautiful looking cars that started with the 2008 Enclave and was followed by the very handsome LaCrosse. This design seems more in the XK/XKR mold as it's a 2+2 design (with the same worthless back seats designed for people without legs or pets) and larger than the F-type. It reminds me a bit of the Honda Accord 2 door but more graceful. As a 2008 Enclave owner, I can only say, heed the saying "Never buy a first year model, EVER!"

I've had pretty spectacular success w/ first year models, the F-Type being the latest example.

Small backseats are great for storage. My G37 coupe had them and while I rarely put humans back there, being able to throw stuff back there was great.

I think this concept represents the continuation of a long time Buick tradition of 2 door GT style personal luxury cars that have been previously called the Riviera since the early '60s. The Riviera always represented Buick's most advanced design features and certainly represented some bold and extraordinary automobiles. I would assume that this design originated in China as do the other Buick models, but I think it's following a very long tradition of Buick personal luxury/GT cars.

Rivguy,
I didn't see your post before I posted the one about the Riviera, but I agree with you wholeheartedly. This is the continuation of a fine and long tradition.
