Default Can this be fixed...

I adjusted the under hood bumpers per the Technical Bulletin JTB00399NAS1. But after further inspection the body panel has pulled away from the black plastic. This is best visible from the underside. Any ideas on how to resolve?? Double sided 3M tape seems like it'd be a temporary fix to a long term issue.

Panel/??? separation

Underside. Separation.

Result = panel gap

I had something similar with mine recently. There is a bolt I think that needs to be threaded through two of the panel bits, and it was only going through one so the bumper was detached on one side. You have to get at it from underneath (inside the wheel arch, if you feel around in there you might find the loose bolt), but the Jag service guy fixed it in about 5 minutes on the side of the road.

Just looking at mine for comparison and it is different.
On mine, on both sides, that black strip of the fender liner near the top edge of the front bumper (about 10 cm long sitting above the tyre in your first pic) is tucked inside of the bumper and not sitting on the edge/outside of the bumper like yours is. At first I thought that bit in your pics might be some sort of additional piece mine is missing but on closer inspection I doubt it. I tried to see if I could pull that part of the liner on my car outside the bumper like yours but no way, at least not without risk of breaking/tearing/damaging something. So maybe just maybe on your car that bit of the fender liner should be tucked in behind the top edge of the bumper and maybe just maybe that will fix your gap problem.

OzXFR: I tucked the fender liner back in. It only stayed in place for about 10 seconds before popping out again.

@BruceTheQuail Are the two bolts, hidden behind the two tannish plugs, in the fender liner the bolts you were referencing? Or was it a different one?

Checked two bolts. Both were secure.

This separation I'm thinking is the cause. Any other users with this issue??

Yep, that's them. With mine you could grab that part of the bumper and move it around as it had unseated from the bolts, but it was like a 5 minute fix. I could have tried myself but I was worried about losing the bolts, I'm not particularly skilled with that kind of thing.
