This is for the chrome grille surround piece...

...part #T295053 (161.50 was grille cost).

Had to have it replaced at an out of the area Jag dealership that I am not familiar with and I was quoted an extremely high amount for the labor... it looks like they charged me 5 hours I believe. I asked for a break down, haven't gotten it yet.

If it involved this, I can see how it would have been expensive.

The entire front clip has to be removed from the vehicle to get at the clips and tabs that secure the Front Grille Surround into place.
I was once told 8 hours to complete this very task, likely because they had never done one on this new car before. More recently, I was quoted 3 hours for the same task...

For the record, Jag has it booked at 2.8 hours... the dealership I got it replaced at (for the new owner as I sold it last week), charged me $145 an hour. So it was $420 bucks. Insane what they charge for out of warranty work, especially since they pay their techs 1/5th of that (if that).

This was Jaguar of Orlando... my local dealer offered to do it for free, but I had already sold my car...

...trying to decide which model to go with now.
