Exclamation Car jerking when coming to a stop

My f type since this morning has been jerking when braking to a complete stop. Doesn't happen on downshift or upshift, only when braking to a complete stop. Like when it stops, it jerks. No harsh but i can feel it every time. Anyone have any input on this? Could it be the brakes ? or transmission?

You had a gear box fault issue just recently that was traced to a bad ground? It could be related, but without any warning messages I'm guessing it's not.
We had similar issues a few years back with X5's (e70). That suv used a similar ZF-8hp that would develop a "jerking just before a complete stop". but usually with
many more miles, 50k plus. A fluid change usually did the trick, but yours has lower miles. Sometimes pulling the positive cable would "reset" the adaptive program
but I'm not sure if Jag has a similar program. Hopefully someone chimes in.

The older ZF-6 transmission used to do this on some early XF models. It was a lurch just as stopping / think it was changing down to first as it came to a standstill and causing a final shunt. Resetting the gearbox programming seemed to fix it.

Would take it in to be checked for sure
Fluid flush maybe a good idea anyway.

Yep, as with most car hassles try the simple easy and cheap things first.
In this case simply "reboot" the electrical system and in turn many of the modules by disconnecting the battery for around 10 minutes.
No need to pull either terminal lead off the battery, just disconnect the earth/ground lead from where it bolts to the floor of the trunk/boot.

The "lurch" was reported as an issue in S-Types and XK(R)s, too. I think a fluid change was recommended as the fix (as you suggest), but I guess that might have also involved an electrical reset.

Just want to update : called dealer and took the car in. They did not find any issues. The service advisor mentioned that slight lurching feel is common in older range rovers and some f types. they come and go...that's what he said lol.

funny thing. car hasnt done it since.
