That's how all the other pieces made by that company work so I'm sure you are correct.

Yes they are thin pieces that clip on and fit tightly on top of the original pieces.

Did mine with a trim tool and gentle press.

If you have to replace everything including the buttons I found it cheaper to just order a steering wheel from Guardian as they supply
all the parts reconditions and a upgraded leather flat bottom wheel to you spec's
