Default Castrol BOT 750B

With the rarity and the expense of the BOT 750B what oil are you guys using? My research was mixed. Some are using 75w/90 open diff, some 75w/90 limited slip. I’m assuming the differential if open and either is ok.

It depends on which model of F-Type you have as they have different diffs and require different diff fluid.
The base model has an open diff for which BOT 750B is OK, the V6 S has a mechanical LSD for which you need BOT 720 (not BOT 750) or equivalent and the V8 (2013/14 V8 S, R and SVR) has an electronic LSD for which you also need BOT 720 or equivalent.
In my V6 S I use Motul Gear 300 LS with no problem and others have used Ravenol also with no problem.

So it sounds like BOT 750B is for open diffs. I’ll source an oil for that. Thanks.
