Default Centre console buttons stopped working..

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone has a quick solution to the problem that has developed with my 2014 Jaguar F-Type R.

The ECO button, Exhaust note button, Traction and the spoiler raise/lower button have all just stopped working. Normally when pressed, the exhaust button would light up ang get louder, now nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas? Is it a common fault? could it be as simple as a fuse?

Thanks in advance..

Lee.

This is a duplicate posting. First suspect: the battery

All of those switches go into the 'JaguarDrive Switchpack.' I would guess it could be a fuse for that, or the connection to the CAN Bus.

But, as sov211 says, checking the battery first is always a good idea.

Check out this document:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/wskjex70o2...ntrol.pdf?dl=0

It describes how the JaguarDrive Control system works. All of the switches you mention feed into the JaguarDrive Switchpack, and the document discusses some of the failure modes. Are you able to check to see if there are any OBD error codes?

I was unable to figure out which fuse powers that switchpack.

Battery is going to be checked and if found to be faulty, replaced.

Many thanks for your help!

Regards,

Lee.
