Tomorrow, I will continue my attempt to change the steering wheel. I found two documents about the steering wheel and the airbag. One thing I don't understand is the following: After turning the steering wheel aside, I only access one opening of two. When I have disconnected the battery, I cannot turn on the steering wheel and therefore cannot access the opening 2/2. What's the idea here?
Simple.
You are not supposed to disconnect the battery until you have undone both bolts.
But make sure you disconnect the battery before you pull the wheel off!

Thanks!
Sounds good. But hmm. I wounder (it sounds dangerus) as i understand it, those two openings is the only attachment for the "airbag/horn part", so how can i secure that i just losen the brackets and dont trigger airbag?
Thanks!

Sorry, I should have said "don't disconnect the battery until you have unclipped those two locking tabs (not bolts)" and "once you have unclipped the locking tabs don't pull the airbag off until you have disconnected the battery".
I have not done this myself but I am fairly sure the airbag won't just "fall off" once you unclip the two locking tabs, instead you would need to pull or pry it off.
But to play safe you could always tape or tie the airbag to the wheel before you disconnect the battery so it can't fall off. Of course you should disconnect the battery before you attempt to unplug the electrical connection to the airbag.
Having said all that, looking at the diagram of the steering wheel in the instructions, it is turned 90 degrees and you should be able to access both locking tabs from that position without having to turn the wheel again, although it may help to be a 90 lb contortionist to get at the bottom tab!
OK, I just tried a little 'speriment on my car.
With the steering wheel in the straight ahead position you cannot access the locking tabs.
With the wheel turned 90 degrees you can access the upper tab but not the lower tab, and you have to now turn the wheel 180 degrees to access the other tab.
So here's my latest brainwave:
Start the car and turn the wheel 90 degrees. Turn car off.
Undo the upper tab.
Restart car and turn the wheel 180 degrees. Turn car off. Airbag should not move as it is held on by the other locking tab.
Disconnect battery and wait 10 minutes.
Undo the second tab, remove airbag.
Thanks for all. Today i leaved the car to a mechanic. It was a little tricky (for me), the new wheel´s left buttons dident work, so we swaped the cables from my old steering wheel and now everything is perfect. Tha crazy mechanic
