1st move steering wheel out and down with controls.. then disconnect the battery as jag says.. lol i never do.. turn wheel quarter turn and with a torx 27 or 30 stick in rear of steering wheel .. there is a little hole .. there is a torx in there.. loosen then turn wheel opposite side and loosen off the other torx.. then airbag comes... out.. becareful with airbag connectors..
(i use a torx set that are long .. they look like a allen key set)

It is a 30 torx. I dislike the X-Type airbag bolts. Always fight me on the way back in.

Definitly easy job. I wouldnt even unplug the airbag. Just unbolt it and disconnect the steering wheel controls.
Why do you want to do this incidentally.

Long time I haven't posted, been pretty busy, put the reason is that I am changing the colors inside the vehicle. I stop I while back after changing the window switches and the parking brake because of other projects I had to do first ( bad cat). I just odered the smd's that will need replacing so I am back to working on the lights.

it looks nice, but does not white get annoying to the eyes. A blue would have been much nicer. just my opinion......... do not lash out at me!!!! Anyways, looks better than stock!!!

It looks like the white is really bright, compared to the original green. You have to keep them dimmed down you think?

I see you saved the tough ones for last - inst cluster and radio.
