my car is under cpo for 3 more years and 70k more miles. My factory warranty expires sept 17th, car will be gone before then. my factory warranty has already paid out over 80g's, yes 80 grand. CPO does not cover as much as factory, when they sold me the car I was told otherwise, my mistake for not doing enough research, recently had them replace both seats and steering wheel because CPO would not replace that.

What company is underwriting that warranty?

Clarifying question: your dealer sold you a (very nice) extension of warranty, allowing the VAP tune + supercharger mods on your car? If so, I'm asking my dealer. My extended warranty on MY2016 is ended 2021 and I'll try and sneak in a mods before I sign a contract.

The mods weren’t specifically allowed, but the contract lists only those mods made after the beginning of the contract will disqualify the warranty. However, only the OEM equipment is covered.

My experience with a non manufacture extended warranty is that will spend much more time trying to deny a claim then pay it,they will even accuse the service dept. of creating problems to fix.

Definitely look into the terms extended warranty, bought mine used with CPO and it didn't pay for anything yet. My active exhaust is stuck on loud and somehow the local dealer has concluded that exhaust isn't a part of the CPO...
