Default Controlling the convertible top with key fob?

Is there a way to control the top with the key fob? I’ve figured out the window up and down business but the top won’t open or close with the fob.

The cool thing with the Mods4Cars module is with the new updated software version you can now get rid of the Eco start and stop via the programming of the module.

Very cool!! Not sure if it’s worth $450 but cool indeed! 😉

I have an earlier SmartTop, and it works great. Required for a vert, IMO.

FYI; you can update your older module with the newest software via your computer and a USB cord. go to mods4cars website and look for f-type updates.

I agree that it is probably not worth the $450. Seems like I remember them being considerably less than that. But that is what they are now.

$450?
That feature was already included in my last C7 vert Vette.
Another small reason I may head back to C8 Vette in a few yrs...

Current list of mods is extensive from controlling windows and top from remote, to disabling eco and enabling exhaust valves. It can even invert the button and prevent the top from moving in valet mode. WIsh it was a tiny bit cheaper.

I submitted a request online to see if a bulk purchase would get us a discount.

Call Rodger 1-559 362-0194 I bought mine at just over 400.00 which is a "tiny bit cheaper" I hope this helps some of you guys wanting one, who knows maybe even cheaper with group buy. I love mine and works just as described and very easy to install in f-type. tell Rodger Mitchell Mathes promoted him on the forum.

For me it was a must have.... Didn't like the $400'ish price but I use it all the time

Did anyone ever hear if we could do a group or bulk purchase?

I also love having it. I hesitated over the cost and had brief buyers regret when I saw how little you get for $450 but it just makes the whole convertible experience so much better. Another plus is that you can reverse the console toggle lever direction to match the direction the roof is movingg and, you only need to push or pull the bottom once. No more holding it through the open or close cycle. Safer and less irritating
