Default Convertible hood care

I have yet to take delivery of my new F type and am concerned with the strong UV light we have here in NZ. Researching hood care, it seems the best product to consider is 303 high tech fabric guard. I assume there are no issues with leaks in the roof fabric but I am concerned to keep the top in as good condition as possible. Anyone have other ideas?

I use the 303 to extend gasket life but, all it does is "extend" it. Nor sure by how much. Still, the best recommendation is to keep the car away from constant sun, garage it and cover it when not in a garage. It is a minor hassle but, it pays dividends for not only the top but, on the paint, tires and the rest.

coming in a bit late on this one but I've had convertibles for over 20 years. Here is my recommendations for you:

BTW, Unless you plan to keep the car for over 10 years, I've never seen top fade on recent cars. Here is what I do to keep my tops in their best shape:

1) Never was top with soap or pressure washer
2) Rince with water gently and dry with a chamois without using force
3) Buy Porsche shampoo and Porsche convertible top condition/protectant and twice a year, wash top according to instructions and spray on the protectant stuff again according to instructions.

This has always kept my tops in new shape, mostly water proof/repelant etc

oh and a couple of notes, don't breath in that Porsche protector stuff, it's really bad and also make sure to cover any windows/paint when spraying, it really sticks on hard.
