With all the talk of coolant concerns around these cars I thought it might be good to have some on-hand just in case. Picked 2 1L bottles up at the dealer today.

Got home and thought after the fact to check the spec etc in the manual…I can’t imagine the dealer parts guys would give the wrong coolant (surely?), but I figured it might be wise to double check. Manual says STJLR.651.5003.

Oddly enough I can’t find that written anywhere on the product I received?

Says Jag on it at least, and it looks the part in the sense that it is pink like what I have, but if it’s all the same the warm and fuzzy of seeing the spec on the bottle would have been nice ;-) Thought I might see it rolling the info tab back, but doesn’t seem to be there either. Must be cost cutting, saving some ink ;-O

I assume this is the proper stuff guys?

 

The orange coolant has been superceded by the pink coolant.
