Does anyone have a link to jaguar site where I can input my VIN and get the CORRECT headlamps? I went to 3 jaguar web portals and I putted my VIN in the beginning, but when I went to the headlamps section I was given all headlamp choices.

I bought a wrecked car and I fear I will buy the wrong headlights. Please and thank you!

 

the headlamps are not classified only by VIN. There are also design differences. There are, within the same VIN range, headlamps that have a chrome housing over the inner headlamp nacelle, and others that have a black housing; there are headlamps which are "active" meaning that swivel within a fixed range and others that do not swivel...so you need to know which lamps you already have before you order. The VIN range of your car does not give that information. However, your entire VIN is linked to an exact description of the equipment on your car -this is how a body shop or a glass shop knows what to order. Do you know any friendly shops that might print this out for you? Failing that, a Jaguar dealer can print out for you what is called The "DealerDirectWarranty" sheets which list everything about your car. Do you have a friendly dealer?
