Default What is my VIN?

Hello again members, I am trying to decipher my VIN number on a 1995 Daimler Double Six. I have been on the web & seen various explanations for the VIN. But it does not seem to explain my code. The VIN is ********4bp7517**. The car was sold new in Japan & the registation card is dated 1995. Can anyone help to explain this to me.
Thanks, Harry

go to The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust's website and for a fee, they will send you a report on the car, build date, original color, original destination, first owner, etc.

Harry,
I've deleted a few characters from your VIN for your security (VIN identity theft happens).
We have a free VIN decoder
VIN Decoder - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
Give it a go!

yes, one should never post any identifiable information about themselves or their cars, including VIN, license plates, etc.

that's because you have to pay first!

yes, the JDHT is moving, you have to wait till after September to get a Heritage Certificate.
