Default Correct wheel studs for FTR?

Hi everyone, so a little while back I posted in regards to getting my dome locking lug nuts off. I have since found no solution that wouldn’t involve damaging the rim besides drilling through the locking nut and drilling out the wheel stud.

After a painstaking 6 hours or so I was able to get one of the locks off with somewhat minimal damage to the rim. My tire was losing air and I thought it had to do with a puncture but it actually was a hairline crack on the back of the rim, but that’s another story.

I am now trying to source the correct wheel stud to replace the one I drilled out. I have seen posts saying Dorman studs ( part # 610-543) will work. I would just like to confirm this or if anybody has used something different please let me know. This is for a 2016 F-type R.

I will leave this pic of locking nut I was able to remove. 1 down l, 3 to go…

Not absolutely certain...But according to Dorman Website, that Part# does not fit?

This is the post where I found those studs. Post #26. I’m guessing the type S and type R studs will be the same.

Yes...I just read that and it sounds like it "will" work. Looks like it is a bit larger, but you can force it in OK. I looked through the Jaguar Parts Catalog and they do not appear to sell just the wheel stud$$$$

May also check with Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings, and much more! | Motorsport Tech (motorsport-tech.com) as they make the wheel adapters and they come with the studs pressed in the adapter that fit?? Maybe they fit the hub to, and maybe they sell them...Just a thought.

Good luck.
