Default CPO cost to dealership

I'm negotiating on a used F-Type which currently is listed without CPO. Does anyone know the cost to the dealership of adding CPO on a low mileage (>10k) F-Type? I'm thinking I'd rather negotiate the CPO in for the extra years/miles than haggle on the price too much.

I negotiated an extra year from 6 to 7, they told me it cost them $1700.

At the time I bought my car new it had already been purchased by dealership and warranty had started (4 months were used). Although it only had 76 miles they could offer it as a CPO. They wanted and extra $1100 at the time. In hindsight I wish I had taken it as I will be keeping the car for the duration. That was to take to 6 years and 100,000 miles as I recall. The years would have run out before the mileage as I only drive about 5500 miles or so a year. So $1100 bucks was for 16 months of extra CPO coverage.

Also to note - the total mileage and be years of extension for CPO can vary. In my experience the CPO plus first year worth of extension can run $1500 or a bit more than that. But after that adding a second or sometimes even a third year is typically under $1000 per year. So if you think you'll keep it I think that's a good deal.
