Beautiful, here if you tried that here on a dark desert highway you would end up with a kangaroo embedded in the grill and a wheel left behind in hole.

The world is a beautifully diverse thing. I'm sure I will go my entire life without hitting a kangaroo on the road. Squirrels and raccoons here.

But we do have plenty of pot holes. Those are apparently ubiquitous.

Deer are the real hazard here, all year round, dusk, dawn, night. You just have to hope you see the glowing eyes.

I've recently sent a memo to the United Order of Maine Moose [UOMM] kindly asking them to stay off the roads during the 2016 Jaguar Lobster Run. Haven't heard back from them yet.

But my guess is you - yes you - will be hearing from our esteemed colleague Unhinged [re] attendance etc. soon.

Best regards,
Jay

P.S. While moose do pose a danger here in the State of Maine, it's a rare occurrence and I've never even come close (never mind hardly ever see them).

Creating a registration form for the Lobster Run this weekend and sending to interested parties no later than Monday.

When living in Evergreen Co, I had an elk jump over the hood of my C4 Vette as I was flying up N. Turkey Creek canyon.
