Default Heads or tails? Flipping a Project7...

..someone's looking to make a quick £40,000 over the list on this one! I guess it was just a matter of time but I have to say I'm saddened when this happens. Business or greed...either way, thankfully most have gone to enthusiasts... Used Jaguar F-Type | SW England & Wales | Dick Lovett

Maybe not a flip with 284 miles on it? Perhaps they just didn't like it? (though I find that hard to imagine personally..)

I guess taking the decals off and leaving it out in the rain adds £40K to it?

I still can't figure out why JLR decided to put the round steering wheel rather than the flatbottom in this car.

I can't figure out why anyone started putting flat-bottomed wheels in street cars. It isn't F1, where the wheel only needs to be turned a few millimeters around an entire course. I think it's just a "boy-racer" fad. If your knees don't fit under the wheel, get an SUV.

Doesn't have anything to do with a person being big. The steering wheel grip has more girth which makes its much easier to grip especially at the 10 and 2 positions. The standard round steering wheel is far too skinny.

I couldn't possibly disagree with you more. However, I was 90% kidding and posted the link for a good laugh. ;-)

Ask for a discount...the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Functional or not - I could care less - I love the design (aesthetics) of my flat-bottom steering wheel. Like almost everything else, it's just a matter of personal taste.

I very much agree. The first car I had with a flat-botton steering wheel was an Audi TTS, and I have loved that design ever since. Very happy that I could have it on my F-type as well.

I do have one superq7 and although use has so far been limited, courtesy of the U.K. Winter, it is outstanding. So different to the R Coupe, so much more connected, pointed and responsive, it's a very different car. A wonderful machine! Check my previous for pics

The 'suede cloth' / alcantara wheel is only available in round, although I guess they could have made a special flat one for the P7 (but didn't).

At an asking price of almost $265,000 usd, might be pushing it, imho!
