Don’t see many this color. Just thought I would post a pic of our F type R the wifey took from our last show.

 

Looks pretty close to my Son-in-laws that he picked up in Georgia couple months ago

 

That is SUCH a great blue! I don't think I've ever seen one that color, but then again what's the likelihood in central Wisconsin?? :-)

What do you use for washing, polishing and/or surface treatment?

 

There were quite a bit of discussion about Sapphire Blue here before. Looks great on very strong light, but in normal light or dark it is almost black. I have also seen it with a purple tint under certain light condition.I originally wanted so much this color based on a few photos, but in real life I then moved to lighter colors. With silver and chrome, it is quite classy combo!
Also, 2021+ blue is different.

Thanks. From what my 15 year old daughter tells me it runs great. I am just the passenger. She absolutely loves driving it. Especially with the pops and bangs. She is actually pretty good at it. I have created a monster. lol. Hand wash, turtle wax ceramic hybrid in 3-4 month intervals, drive auto performance detail spray at car shows.

 

Yup. The color does vary based upon the conditions. Someone always ask about the color though.

I live in Wisconsin and have a XJL-Portfolio in that exact color

Yes, it VERY much varies based on cleanliness and the sun. Typically looks much darker than that

 

This was an indoor car show. It was lit up pretty good.

 

Yep, love mine. That indoor lighting makes it look a whole lot brighter and bluer.

 

Same color as mine, but depending on time of day, lighting conditions, can look black, blue, purple, green, bright blue, dark blue. It is an awesome color. Love mine.

 

If BRG didn't exist, I'd have to have this blue.
