Dent in Driver Side Door. This happen to anyone else?
I’m usually careful to park away from everyone. I just noticed white paint and a dent in my F-Type. Must have happened within the last day. I didn’t park near anyone or a white car....someone just decided they didn’t care.
Anyone have this happen to them? Wondering if dealer will repair and what costs might be. Thanks

i found my f type with 3 door dings and a scratch that went through the paint, dealer pulled the dents for free for me but they said it woulda been 220 CAD for all 3. I still have to figure out how to cover the scratch thats to the bare metal. I think someone rammed a shopping cart on my door for fun

I had it recently happen to mine, in the rear quarter panel. I think it was some painters with their equipment using the basement at work.
Because it was the rear quarter panel the panel beaters were going to have to pull off trims and the window, it was a major drama and would cost a few thousand and be off the road for a week. I clayed and polished out the paint transfer pretty easily and it looked as though the paint itself underneath it was OK, so I got the paintless dent removal guy out who checked it over. He gave the option of trying to pull it using suction, or drill through the door recess and push it out. The difference is (apparently) that if there is paint damage, if they use suction it can pull the paint off. I went for the latter and the result is that the damage is undetectable. All for about $120.
Sorry, not suction, they use glue.

Find a dent guy locally . I have one on hand and have for years. I went to grab a drink one day and parked out by myself since the lot close was full. Come out and some A Hole parked on top of me and dented the door-I am sure intentionally since they parked so close. Anyway the dent guy came to my house and pulled it within 5 minutes and was going to charge me $20. I threw him a hundred and he pulled the dents out all the way around my truck as well. I think these people can work magic if they are good. This guy has been amazing. I will say as well if your car is ceramic coated many of the things like a dent will not typically get through the coating and into the paint.
