New Wheels on. Forgestar F14.
Posted a few pics right after mounting in the stickied Ftype picture post. Got the car and wheels cleaned up and took some better pics and some close ups.
Stats are
Forgestar F14
20x9 et 38. Semi Concave profile. 255/35/20
20x10.5 et 21. Deep Concave profile. 295/30/20
Car is lowered on H&R springs
For anybody looking at running this setup:
-You can go with the super deep Concave profile in the rear easily. It was a little too concave for my liking.
-The fronts don't have a lot of caliper clearance, so I don't think you could run the Deep concave profile. If you want to make it work with the Deep concave, you could maybe run an 8.5" wheel and bump up the offset to gain some more caliper clearance.
-You need to get some new lugs. I went with Muteki open ended ones in black chrome. I was going to run red, but they were back ordered at the time.

I'm not bashing your choice but how was your customer experience with them? They seem to have a bad rep with the BMW/Audi crowd and I am aware of a serious incident from my Honda S2000 days of one cracking due to metal fatigue. And S2000's are light cars! A quick search on Google results in a bunch of F14 failures. No wheel company is free from failures but I've never seen so many of one specific make and model such as the F14.
Behold the power of social media, Forgestar then did some damage control according to Jalopnik

Other than that those look great. Reminds me of a more aggressive version of the factory Gyrodyne wheel. Weights?

No issues with customer service. I ordered them through Jason @ getyourwheels.com. They were ready to go right in the promised time frame. This is one of their standard colors. Custom colors start to get expensive (relative to the overall cost of the wheel) and I think that's where they run in to delay issues with the painter/powdercoaters.
I would definitely recommend buying through a retailer vs trying to deal direct.
I didn't weigh, but definitely lighter than stock - they're probably somewhere in the 23-25lb range.
I saw that video when making the decision. It's the only issue that I've seen with these wheels. And while scary, it looks like there was some blame to be placed on the owner. For street wheel, they will hold up just fine - similar to any other flow formed wheel. I also don't think I will be keeping them too long. Once the new house is all dialed in, I'll start saving for custom forged set.
