Disengaging lower Rubber Door Seal

Disengaging lower Rubber Door Seal
Maybe it is my lazy ingress/egress, but the rubber door seal on the outside of my Driver's Door constantly separates from the body frame when I bump it getting into and out of my '17 F-Type. Sometimes all the way to the front near the hinges.
It does not appear to have been glued in, only 'popped' into place in the channel. THe passenger side seems a bit more secure(maybe because it does not get as much wear??
I have considered using some silicone sealer to hold it in place, but hesitate to 'corrupt' the attachment if not necessary.
Has anyone else had this problem? Solution?

It doesn't help if you keep kicking it.
The seal us held in place with small plastic clips that are shaped like the letter T.. The top of the T is held in a hole at the rear of the rubber, the downward stroke of the T clips into small holes in the bodywork..
Get a mat and kneel down to see if there's any missing.

I would simply try a thin line of black RTV silicon sealant/adhesive along the bottom edge of the seal.
Can't do any damage as long as you clean up any excess before it sets/cures/dries (use turps on a rag) and it will hold the seal firmly in place no worries.

I got down and looked at the channel, and found several of the plastic "T" connectors torn from the rubber seal. I am trying to replace them in the seal with silicone product. Will go to channel silicone as a last result.
Maybe i should just open window, and dive in and out ala "Dukes of Hazard"????
Not in the last 50 yrs. That would be the best way for my kids to inherit the F-Type sooner rather than later.........

If the rubber is torn where the seals go, I'd recommend stuffing something more firm, like a strong epoxy like JB Weld, into the holes where the clips go. That will stiffen those areas of the rubber and hold the clips in place. (NOTE that I'm NOT suggesting to glue the rubber seal to the car with JB...)
Something that helps with all rubber seals is to clean the mating areas with rubbing alcohol (to prevent sticking).
Further, a coating of talcum/baby powder on the outside of any rubber 'bulb' seals prevents the sticking that resulted in the clips tearing out. You need to reapply every few months, though.
