Does this car exist?
Love my f type V8S conv. But my dream car would have the specs below. But I don't think its exists other than a used F430.
Mid engine
Rear wheel drive
Convertible
6 speed stick
350+ hp
NA engine
The closest I can think of is a boxster GTS which i feel is under powered. I had a 997S with above specs but I don't prefer the rear engine feel.

Look into Lotus, though anything that would have the power that you want will be supercharged.
They should have a convertible Evora out within 2 years.
The other car that fits this is the Audi R8, though, it has all wheel drive.
Not too many mid engined cars these days south of 500bhp or with a stick.

McClarens are just butt ugly to my eyes.

Gator is looking for something above 350hp. The parasitic loss from AWD will just slow you down. At 550hp you need the AWD to get the power to the ground . The only reason to go with the AWD on the V6S, for example, is for winter and wet weather traction.
Just like the way RWD feels/handles. Want a modern, mid engine roadster that harkens to yesteryear. Thought the new alpha would do it, but it's flappy paddle. I could cut the top off a cayman gt4 if they never bump up the boxster.
Drove one the other day, decent car and almost affordable used.

I'm seriously thinking of adding a 360 or a 430 and have been looking for a while. The six speed on both adds an appreciable premium, the F1 cars are generally cheaper. Maintenance does seem to be less than it can be for a 355 which was also on my list at one point.
Here the piece on what it cost him to own it for a year. http://jalopnik.com/heres-what-it-co...ear-1669923931

Considered it, but not a stick. Same w 458. I know they are faster but I just enjoy shifting significantly so my next car will be a proper manual. I just don't want to go back to a 911. The new boxster spider may fit the bill if it doesn't have a nuisance top.
