Default Door panels

My window tint guy wants to remove interior door panels to facilitate/improve installation on side windows.
How complicated is that in terms of reinstallation and all electrical connections?
Says he does it all the time. Should I trust him to do it?

He probably does it all the time... Not a big deal. Just make sure he puts the plastic water vapor guard back in place.

I used this video:

Be sure to have some of the white panel pins on standby if one or more of them snaps off.

Some of them like to stay in the door panel and have to be slid back in the door.

The tools Paul used are spot on.

Dont need to worry about the vapour guard. It’s actually a plastic panel that screws in. He won’t even need to touch this as once the door panel is off he will have his access to the bottom 1-2 c/m below the interior window seal to run the tint

It’s a very easy process, I think it’s like two different torq sizes - I always use a moving blanket under the door just in case. They did a nice job hiding and covering the fasteners, but not difficult. If it were me, I would take them off myself and put the, back on when the person is done.
