That would be a completely flawed expectation. I have seen my v8 (R) pull .85Gs from a standing start MANY times and it can likely do more so yeah, no issue putting all that power down especially with AWD. You myth = BUSTED

final drive ratios make a lot of difference to how the cars feel - and where they change gear on the way to 60

2L 3:55:1
v6 3.15:1
svr 2.56:1

aside from the obvious extra 195HP - that was the first thing I noticed moving from a V6 to an SVR.
