Yours are definitely a different maker/model than SNG's. I followed then link you posted and immediately noticed the connector is at 3 o'clock (as original) versus SNG's, which is at 12 o'clock, as I pictured in my post #47
Nice pick
so it appears so far the the dynamic blinkers with the connectors at 3 and 9 o’clock like the OEM blinkers may be of better quality than the one with the connector at 12 o’clock.
Datriani can you please confirm what position on the blinker you plug connects too.?? Thanks
Is it just my eyes or is yours not blacked out? It just looks like yours still have the clear plastic strip.
They are smoked. I purposely took the photo at that angle so the overhead garage LED lights caught a glare on the edge to illustrate how much they protrude.

Well, I see your concern. I understand that it’s not much but enough to drive someone like me batty.

I totally understand. I have things that set me off too. I just got done doing the P7 grill install to get rid of that ugly grill herpes. Talk about a protrusion!
I saw that you have no braces....it does look beautiful but I don’t think I could ever go through with what you had to do. Amazing work and the final result is spectacular. But yes, the clear plastic signal strip does stand out but I know you are on your way to change that. Then, we need another picture.

Thank you. I didn’t even pay attention to the mirror signals until I saw this thread. I saw the LED and the sequential, and thought that was pretty neat. I bought the SNG and didn’t even take into consideration whether they were clear or smoked. I can go either way on the coloring.
here is a picture of them installed, similar to my older picture with the OEM. It wouldn’t bother me if they were clear as I have enough little silver accents around the car that they would fit in. But I do like the smoked too. Smoked, clear, flush, protruding . . . For some these can be deal breaker. I get it.
I just bought a pair from AliExpress for $25 AUD. That have the connectors at 3 o”clock. I will report back if they are any good when they arrive( probably 6-8weeks .....sigh)
For anyone else buying , the clear indicator blinker is the original first edition version. The subsequent revision is smoked. Not sure if they changed any electronics as well as the cover inbetween versions but prettty sure they did given the vast difference in satisfaction here.
So it is not just a cosmetic choice. I am pretty sure SNG Barrett is on selling the same products as they use the same pictures for what it’s worth.
Installed our set today, from eBay, sold by Fuchi_Auto. Install went OK, the first one took a while as I was afraid of breaking the mirror cover tabs. Found that the first place to pry the cover, was just above the leading edge of the old signal itself.
Speaking of which, here are pictures of the insides of the covers so that you can tell where the 'hooks' are, what you are being cautious with.

Reason: wrong name
FYI - I ordered a set from SNG and they arrived very quickly. The driver's side had a single burned out LED segment. I contacted SNG and William W. there was very helpful and considerate. He shipped out a replacement that also arrived very quickly and I installed it fairly easily. Kudos to SNG/William.
The lights are bright and clearly sequential but yes, in a perfect world, they would illuminate the strip just a tad slower to accentuate the sequential effect. They still look very slick and the effect is well done.
I did have a small problem prying off the mirror cover from the top and cracked the "lip" that is in the gap between the cover and the black bezel. When that happened I backed off and started the removal from just above the turn signal's innermost point and that worked much better for me.
Yes, they do protrude very slightly as compared to stock. 95% of folks won't notice or care. While I would prefer flush (because I'm ****) it's very, very minor and not an issue for me.
Funny thing though - although the smoked look works very well with my MY18 darkened taillights, I find myself slightly missing that little silver stripe in the mirror more than I thought. Probably just because it's a new look I have to adjust to. Time will tell if I switch back, but I doubt it. To me, the blinkers look great on or off, and the quality appears high. Easy to install and the SNG experience was a positive one for me. Of course YMMV on all of the above.
HELP!!! I installed this unit and broke and scraped both mirror covers....Does anyone have white takeoffs for sale or the part #'s for each and a "best place to shop"? I am pretty good with John Deere tractors and Horses....but these wild animals just beat me doiwn!

Part numbers:
Left C2Z21701LML
Right C2Z21700LML
Unfortunately they do not come prepainted and come primered so you'd have to get them painted. I ordered an extra set for the purpose of getting them painted them gloss black as it blends better with the car in my opinion.

Perhaps a Carbon Fiber set? Not too expensive. Seem to be several vendors.
