Default Electrical Gremlins?

Hey gang. Brought my car out of hibernation the other day. First run started great, but about 15 minute in, after a stop at a light, the cruise control would not re-activate. Even pulled over and turned the car off and on....no cruise control. A few minutes after losing cruise, got the big orange ! and was told "Emergency Brake Assist not available" and Stability control not available, drive with care.

Got it home, left it over night. Next day took it out and everything worked, cruise, no warnings....but then again, 15 or 20 min in, cruise stopped working and then shortly thereafter, same warnings popped up.

Any thoughts? Car was kept indoors on a maintainer hooked up as per these forums. Thanks for any hints of suggestions. Cheers,

Are you still on the original battery? I used to change batteries at 5 years, but I think batteries have gotten better. Still, I’d have yours checked, may be getting weak. May replace mine in the near future - why wait for trouble?

Agreed.
I have a 2014 V6S as well still running the original battery and I have never had a battery problem yet, but I'm thinking about swapping it out soon even though I stick it on the trickle charger every two or three weeks. In the past I have always replaced the battery once it got to four years old, including (and especially!) on my old XFS and XFR, but they all had the old fashioned type of flooded lead acid battery and the F-Type is the first car I have ever had with an AGM battery (which is still lead acid just not "flooded"). I am fairly sure that a well maintained AGM battery will last a fair bit longer than an equivalent flooded battery but that is no guarantee against yours being a rare dodgy one.

Mine was giving me odd messages and alarms intermittently. Turned out to be a ground wire with some corrosion. Also check your tender connections points to make sure any grounding connection points are tight.

No-one has suggested checking the battery voltage?
