Thanks for posting.
I will be changing my own oil not to say money, but rather because anytime someone else is trusted to do something correctly, they fail. Many examples of oil change dealer screw ups on this forum.
Castrol Oil would be my choice just because I don't want to open the door for a warranty argument down the road.
The only reasons I see for using a dealer for oil changes are if someone doesn't have the space or skill to do it themselves and the fact that when the dealer does it, it shows on a Carfax report as being done.

Regarding the overfill, I drove it about 20 mins after the change and it was still reading as "OK" when I checked. I've driven about 1000 miles since then so I hope it's fine, LOL.
