Thanks for posting.

I will be changing my own oil not to say money, but rather because anytime someone else is trusted to do something correctly, they fail. Many examples of oil change dealer screw ups on this forum.

Castrol Oil would be my choice just because I don't want to open the door for a warranty argument down the road.

The only reasons I see for using a dealer for oil changes are if someone doesn't have the space or skill to do it themselves and the fact that when the dealer does it, it shows on a Carfax report as being done.

Hey - you might be overfilled when all that new oil comes up to temperature. Be sure to check it ~30 minutes after driving.

btw if anyone wants to meet at the Franklin/Nashville C&C I would be down for that. The one time I was there I was sad to be the only F-Type in a sea of 1000 cars (and secretly happy too)

Using the non-OEM oil definitely leaves that door open for JLR to potentially dispute a warranty claim. However, my car is nearing factory warranty expiration. I'm debating whether to buy an extension. I have on two occasions experienced shops not replacing the oil filter on my truck during an oil change. Unacceptable. Thank you for subscribing! My whole channel is centered around my Jag and there's more to come.

I've been there 3 times in the past two months! There was a white rental F-TYPE R there last time I was there owned by Music City Dream Cars.

Regarding the overfill, I drove it about 20 mins after the change and it was still reading as "OK" when I checked. I've driven about 1000 miles since then so I hope it's fine, LOL.

I'm really bad about forgetting to credit the music I use. Thanks for the reminder!
