Default EPB and rear trunk hatch failure

Yesterday I saw that I had Amber Brake indicator and a Red Park indicator on dash. The emergency parking brake no longer functions. The Trunk hatch also is faulting it will open and close but when it closes the locking system fails to pull it down to the locked position. When it does not lock non of the doors will lock. I can push it down the extra 2 to 3mm till it clicks and then the doors will lock. Anyone have similar issue and what is the fix.

Maybe check all the electrical connections after your shifter surround removal. May sure you haven’t bent any pins etc

Might be worth seeing if a code scanner shows anything. Guess I’d check fuses after that.
