I'm thinking of grabbing the 5.0 lower crank pulley but I'm not sure if the power increase is worth the cost. Can anyone weigh in with their experiences?

BTW, I've got the upper pulley already installed and the VAP crank tune ready to be loaded. I don't track the car or push it to redline, so I'm not concerned with the reported dropoff in power at the upper end. I'm really just looking for more low-end torque.

Worth it 100% and Mike has been great to work with. Answered all my questions usually within a few hours of email him, and even after business hours. The difference is night and day in my opinion. I mean, in the grand scheme of thing the cost/hp of the pulley and tune are much better than the cost/hp than some of the other stuff I've seen for the F-type, such as downpipes or high flow cats.

Did you get the tune and pulley done at the same time? I've already got the VAP tune and upper pulley, so I'm just wondering how much the lower pulley will add.

Yes, I got them both at the same time. From everything I've seen on the forums and elsewhere the lower pulley is one that makes the most power. I'd shoot Mike an email and see the power differences between upper vs both pulleys installed.

They run the same belt so there is no difference in effect, other than the lower crank pulley will spin other assessories faster as well. I would avoid doing that.

Also, my dealer tried to void my warranty because they thought I had a firmware tune, which I do not. So if you have any warranty left, don't tune the ECU.

The larger crank pulley only drives the s/c faster, the rear accessory pulley remains the same size and that drives everything else.
