Excellent JLR Dealer
Just thought I would share my recent experiences with Jaguar West Chester in PA. I purchased my F Type out of state and needed to find a local dealership for service and warranty work and frankly after reading lots of poor reviews of JLR service I was concerned. I am not really close to any dealer and there are three in this area that are within 60 miles or so in different directions. Initial surfing showed me that JLR West Chester had for fewer negative comments than the other two and so I booked my car in for a service and PA state inspection.
My car is still under factory warranty but I bought it used and it had not been serviced at its due time, while I should have paid for it according to JLR somewhat draconian rules, Chip my service coordinator went to bat for me and had the car serviced for free - no hassle at all. But wait it gets better - the car is a 2017 Coupe and I noticed a couple of issues with it I have seen discussed on this forum. 1. The chrome trim around the passenger door was lifted up next to the door jamb 2. The parcel shelf was simply falling off the lugs in the trunk and had broken one of the cord hangers. When I arrived and met Chip, I asked him if anything could be done to fix these issues, he came back to me and said he had ordered replacement parts under warranty and would let me know when they were in. Huh! I have seen folks here talk about arguing over warrantee fixes for these types of issues - I had none, awesome!
Chip called me about 2 weeks later and scheduled me to come in and have the trim and parcel shelf fixed, which I did and it was done flawlessly. However, I had noticed yet another problem - also mentioned by several here - the carpet either side of the center console had a small areas where it wasn't quite tucked in a gap was visible. It was a relatively small gap and I wasn't sure that I really needed to fix it, when I arrive at my appointment I showed the gap to Chip and he said - oh yes, thats a problem but I cant fix it because the carpets or on back order from Jaguar. However he said he would order replacements for me and let me know when they came in - he just couldn't say when it would be.
Now that is exactly how i think customers should be treated by everyone but apparently not everyone is. So maybe Chip and Jaguar West Chester are an exception, I hope not as Jaguar is making some fabulous cars and needs to shrug its crappy dealer support image. Meanwhile if you in eastern PA and need a good dealer - talk to Chip.

Sounds like you've found a good one! Make sure they've fitted the grommets to the cargo cover lugs to prevent it falling off again - I had that exact same issue, also fixed under warranty.
