F Type 2.0L - FAIL or FANTASTIC ?!

I was lucky enough to see and hear a 2.0L 4 pot at our local Jaguar Enthusiasts club meeting this week.
Inside the car you could be in any variant. Interestingly there is no storage (in the coupé) or cubby box on the rear bulkhead, but I think they did away with that some years ago.
Outside the car, the only difference between our V8R and the other two V6S's and V6 was the front air scoops no longer have the 'sharks gills' and are just large openings, which I think spoils the look of the front end.
For me, the sports car that the F-Type is, the sound just didn't suit the looks at all.
The theatre of the V6 or the V8 makes up part of the whole driving experience...and that just is not there, even with the exhaust in loud mode.
Didn't get to drive it this time, but will be interesting to see what kind of torque it delivers.
