Default F Type 3.0s exhaust

Hi guys.
Happy new year from S.Korea.

I'm currently thinking abat cutting the end muffler box and relace 2 cats with straight pipes which was done by Dpark.
All good , All fine.

But I wonder ..

My car has adjustable exhaust without switch but it changes when I put it into dynamic mode.
When I enter my apartment at night, I need to turn it into comfort mode to make it relatively calm.

After the surgery, does it still work?

If you replace with straight pipe on the box then you won’t have valves anymore so it’ll be always loud BUT dynamic mode may change the characteristics of the sound made. If you decide to do it please post a vid I’ve been looking for ages for someone with no cats and no muffler (to see equivalent open on my vap valves). I know it’s probably obnoxious but still LOL

Without the cats, the V6 will sound horribly raspy. The valves direct the flow through the entire set of baffles or just a portion. There’s nothing left For the valves to divert to if the muffler is removed. Without cats or muffler, that V6 sound will be truly obnoxious. Not recommended.

I think some clarity needs to be provided here.

OP, the parts inside the muffler are not cats, they're resonators. Your valves are located in the pipe leading to the muffler box, so with my mod, the valves are retained.

With the valves closed, it will be no different to how your car sounds now with the valves closed.

Thanks dpark, This is what i wanted, I didn't know that isn't a cat.
I should proceed.
So you mean, even If i delete the resonater in the end box, I should keep calm in comfort mode. right?

Yes that's correct.
