Is the F Type all about Sound?

Drove a jaguar F type for the very first time, let me say one thing... the noise that V8 produces is simply incredible!

I love my XJ220 but a SVR might be a worthy addition

I believe the majority of the V8's sound is due to the button (or dynamic) controlled muffler delete feature. Installing the V8 muffler on a V6 will offer similar sound. The V6 active muffler still routes the exhaust through a partial section of the muffler when the valves are open.
