Hi all and Happy Holidays.

For a little while I was noticing my drivers door did not always close properly. I would think I had shut it but then the car would not drive because it wasnt completely closed.

Upon inspection I discovered that the door latch 'keeper' in the door jamb was very loose and so I positioned it where I thought it should be and tightened it up and the door now closes as it should.

However, the close 'action' sounds louder than I recall and I wonder if there is a specific alignment technique for the 'keeper'. ANyone have any thoughts or experience with this?
