I believe, that the wiring should be in place for these and it should be a fairly simply plug n play operation.

Don't know for sure, but it's my best guess.....anyone?

Fitting instructions are in the sticky FAQ thread. Installation appears to be more involved than other cars - you have to remove the entire side rocker panel from the car.

Yes I saw those instructions in the FAQ, really doesn't look difficult to me although I'm sure Jaguar would be happy to bill you for 2 hours or so

I had personalized illuminated tread plates installed and it turned out to be kind of a pain.
The OEM tread plates are glued on so it takes quite a bit of effort to rip them off.
Once they're off, there is some simple wiring and then the new tread plates go on fairly easily.
The OEM plates will be destroyed in the process (which really pissed me off, because that's just bad design).

The tread plates are actually very thin aluminum... Just a surface really.
