With respect no you don't need it. I absolutely understand why you want it, I feel the same but you don't need it. I work hard and have worked hard for my money, but to be honest there are tons of people who work just as hard as me and have nothing like the money I have. I don't think I should be punished for it, but the tax money has to come from somewhere would I like it to come from somewhere other than my car, sure but where else? I can choose not to pay that tax and buy a Camry but I choose to pay.

Spot on in my opinion. The article is misleading to be charitable....the F type sells well considering the market it's in and it's price point.

(sarcasm) Do you mean that a $100,000, 2 seat sportscar sells less copies than a Corolla or an F150? How can that be? (sarcasm)

I was being tongue in cheek. Some times its hard to separate need from want. Lately I think I need a new Range Rover, especially while it still has a supercharged V8.

I love you popping in with your road trip notes. Hope it's a blast. I think you'll hit more than my 4K... depending on route. Wow.... just looked and it's only 1.8K or so. Wild. Had no idea I drove so much LOL

HAPPY DRIVING! Make sure to pass once inawhile on those 2 lanes so you don't get sleepy.

No one needs a Picasso painting or an old master.
All car people, on the forum and in life get it.
Cost wasn't the issue for me. I fell in love with the CX16 concept. The wife gets along with my F-Type mistress and enjoys driving it too. To people who point out how impractical it is, they don't get it. I tell them I think it's the most beautiful car on the road today and it's a blast to drive, so what if it only carries 2 people and a maximum of 420 pounds? It's "not just transportation' - its Automotive Art.
