f-type models
For the 2013/2014 model 340 PS = V6 base model and 380 PS = V6S.
You could not get the 380 PS tune in a base model, therefore 380 PS = V6S and only V6S.
The three main ways to identify an S over a base are:
1. Badging - an S should have an S badge on the grille, the RHS of the boot lid and on the centre dash. But not all had the dash badge and some S's have been debadged and some even stuck S badges on a base so not a sure-fire tell.
2. Adaptive dampers on the S only and not even an option on the base. Giveaway is wiring running to a plug on the top of each front strut tower, wiring present = S no wiring = base.
3. Front brakes - the S had 380 mm front brakes as stock while the base had 355 mm front brakes as stock. You could not order the S with 355 mm front brakes but it was possible to order the base with 380 mm front brakes but hardly anyone did so.
