F-Type Navigation Maps Blacked Out
I have read similar post on here about F-Type navigation maps going black on the screen. Mine has done that. It has been at the dealership (under extended warranty thank goodness) for over 45-days. They have replaced all kinds of parts, over $8,000 per the dealership, they've also did a pin signal check, but nothing has seemed to work. On Friday I paid an unannounced visit to the dealership to see what they would tell me. They've been working with the Jaguar engineers trying to figure it out. The latest guess is that the front display is not talking correctly to the other mods in the system. They mentioned something about a "split VIN number". The dealership has replaced the screen and that did not fix the issue.
The car is a 2016. Everything else on the infotainment system works correctly (radio, climate control, etc.), just no picture of the maps. You have voice just no picture.
This all started when we replaced the evaporator core for the AC and had to remove the dash to fix that issue and when I got the car back from that, that is when I found the issue with the maps being blank. The system worked perfectly fine before that.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Logical suggest a loose wire connection between sat nav and front screen.
Front screen obviously working given it displays everything else.(and also because they have replaced it)
Your sat nav module is working if it is giving you the correct audio instructions.so it has got to be the cable ( i also guess there could be a one in a billion chance of a fried circuit in the video pathway within the sat nav module itself)
Aftermarket UAD carplay units tap into the system by superimposing itself inplace of the OEM NAV inputs because it has its own dedicated video input and audio input.
Your audio input is working as per normal so must be a fault of the video input.
Maybe try reseating all the connectors inbetween the two modules ie those that attach to the screen / headunit and those coming off the sat nav module itself.
