Don't forget to break it in and change engine oil early before you take it to the track for the first time. This will actually make difference not only in longevity but in available power.

Last but not least -tires makes tons of difference. Not certain what they will put on it during delivery, but likely not the best available.
The track i am going to is still new and is sponsored by Corvette museum, so no Mustangs. Aside from that, the ancient suspension will not serve me too well. I work in the car business and i picked up a good shape 08 nissan 350Z for 8k.

Viper ACR has custom designed Kumho ( out of all makes ) tires, and to my surprise they are fairly priced. Wholesale they run $280 a piece ( rear tires are 355-30-19 )

Because all the aero bits, reviews are looking great for tire wear.

I work in the car business and i saw a bunch of 14+ Vipers at the auctions. You can buy a GTS for 35k bellow invoice.

The ACR is a different story though. Most dealers priced them over MSRP and i got it bellow invoice. I drove the GTS, a toned down version of my build, and i was sweating adrenaline.

The combination between poor noise insulation, high clutch, long acceleration, overly close pedals makes you wander why you want this car..... However you cannot get enough of it.

It sounds nowhere near as good as the R, but it's thrilling in a different way. To quote something i read online, it sounds like 2 dump trucks mating.

Having a 8.4 V10, i am sure i'll find a way to make it sound good though.

My partner has a 2015 that he uses mostly for track purposes but sometimes in the city. While they have significantly improved the interior (quite beautiful and so much better than the earlier years), but the ride quality is terrible for a street car and the sound is also not to my liking. But it is certainly a strikingly beautiful, aggressive looking sports car.

The ACR interior PKG is great. For $1,800 i got a 19 speaker system.

I've hear that you will **** blood if you drive it more than 1 hour on bad roads

That engine doesn't sound at all well. (Like it's about ready to throw a rod). Hopefully a result of the recording equipment. (Or my playback system)

The V10 in the Viper has never sounded "well."

yep sound is major problem with that viper motor, sounds like a v8 with a broken manifold, and from what i read even worse when you pull all the sound deadening out

have a cgt and that v10 is arguably one of the best sounding motors ever made, shame not all v10's are created equal lol

now about that motor.......
