Default Replacement Brake Lines - Help

I need some help, not sure what is going on with my brakes.
I ordered stainless brake flex lines for my 2004 XK8 from BuyBrakes.com.
I got them and went to put them on last evening and discovered that the fitting does not match the ones on my car. They tell me they only show the type of fitting that they sent in their drawings and yet I have a female connection on my line that connect to the body line. They are suggesting that my car has had modifications. Can someone help clear up which fittings should be on the new lines. I have included a photo which shows what is on the car now and the stainless one is the replacement they sent me. HELP.
Got these all the way to Canada with duties and all that and don't want to have ordered the wrong parts.

These are the rear, but all 4 they sent me have the same fitting.

You sure they didn't send you lines for a XK-E?

Someone else will happen along who has actually worked with the stainless
lines. Some brands expect you to go out and buy adapters but do not tell
you that up front.

Too many variables, I'll be sticking to rubber lines when I need them.

As plums suggestion , they have simply sent you the wrong hose .

There is no where for the " retaining circip " to lock the hose in place , and you can't use your supply pipe as it has a male tube nut .

After market braided hoses don't normally need modifying to that extent .

There are some threahds on SS brake lines I've read in the past that explain the botching and fitment. Try a search. These are wrong as stated above and since you paid all fees in good faith the company should reship you the proper ones at no cost AND pay for return postage. It comes to me goodridge might be the brand name in those other threads.
