That's what I mean, the V6S plugs are 8 range, one range colder.

Seems I may have stuffed up, some more research shows that those NGK 93476 spark plugs are heat range 7, same as the stock V8 plugs.
And yes it looks like the NGK 96024 ILKAR8H6 you installed are the correct/best ones for going to heat range 8 in the AJ133.
Edit - forgot to add - with NGK spark plugs the higher the heat range number the "colder" the plug, but with many other plugs (Champion, Autolite, Bosch) it's the other way around, see here: https://www.ngk.com/learning-center/...ugs-heat-range
Which of course can cause a bit of confusion!

Learn something new on here everyday! Thank you for that!
No wonder I get confused. The spark plug people are not consistent in their terminology and it's far too easy to get it wrong.

How do the Intakes sound? I see people doing Mina or a Eventuri/Yellow wolf. But I was thinking about doing both also. How do you like it?

The Mina intake alone looks great. It might release a bit more SC whine, but not enough to consider the mod for the noise merit alone. My primary goal was to lose the OEM crossover tube that was borrowed from a cheap leaf blower.

Why is it a must upgrade? Just for power?

Default 2019 Type R s/c upgrade and tuning

Howdy all! I have had my Type R for a little over 3 years now. I bought it new in 2019. I love it but I am wanting to do some upgrades. I have started with the air intake because I really really wanted to get rid of the sound dampeners so I can hear the supercharger whine. I have started looking in to upgrading the supercharger and tuning.

I figured this is probably one of the best places to look for an answer as to what is going to get me the best and most reliable increase in performance? I love my car and I'm not too worried about pricing but obviously don't want to break the bank.

My Jag isn't my daily. It's really just a weekend and fun cruising car but I am addicted to speed and want to see where I can take it.

Welcome...

Reviving an old thread...But on the upgrades, there are a number of things you can do, and twice as many opinions Look at my signature, and there is a hefty list of likely upgrades you can consider.

Most are happy with just the VAP ECU Tune and/or Pulley upgrades. Makes a huge difference in performance...after that, the slippery slope begins...Haha

I ask me day over day, are Recaro Seats a option for my F Type? You can save round about 80 lbs, that is a number I think!

I am not aware of Recaro seats being an "option" for F-Types. Recaro may make some aftermarket versions that would "FIT" in an F-Type. Another Option is P90X, Insanity, or some other Cross-Fit program...Good for about 30-40 lbs in 60-90 days if you work hard. And if you are REEEEELY out of shape, may get you to - 80 lbs
