Default F-Type rear seat clothes hook Removal hints

Greetings to all owners 6' 2" tall and up..... HELP, I need a bit extra seat travel to enter my convertible with the top up..... Yiks..... yes, there is a hook behind the seat but how do I remove it without damaging the back of the seat ?

Following this thread, since one of mine is broken. Not having the issue you do since I'm 5'6", but good luck.

I doubt if removing the hook will make any more seat room as the seat already has a slot/hole in the back which the hook fits into.
At least on the Performance seats I have but I believe the Sports seats also have these holes in the back.
I can power both seats all the way back such that they are solidly jammed up against the back panels, although my driving position is a good 4" further forward than that.

Edit - the hook is screwed or clipped in from the back of the trim panel so to remove the hook you need to remove that panel.
Apparently it is held in by just six trim clips, see attached PDF:

Edit 2 - forgot to add - that PDF is for a coupe and I don't know if it's the same or not for a 'vert.

HI, thank you. the drawing is for the rear shell not the back of the seat.... my hook is attached to the seat back....

On convertibles, they are molded in.
