I am planning to install a bucket seat in the driver position on my F-Type V8R. Has anyone done this already and can give some information and experiences of the process?

The primary goal is to sit as low as possible, preferably so that the bottom of the seat is only millimeters from the floor. I have done some initial measurements without removing the original seat, and it could be possible to fit the seat between the mounting rails and fastening holes in the floor so that one can lower the seat all the way down.

I however expect it to be necessary to have fixing brackets fabricated for this, unless someone know if such are available to buy for bucket seat mounting in the F-Type?

There is of course some harness for the electrical adjustment of the original seat and seat belt warning system, but I hope that will be possible to disconnect and that it will be enough to transfer the seat belt fastener to the new seat and things will be fine, with no warning indicators going off etc.
