Hi All,

Lurking here since buying an F-Type a few years back. I've recently started noticing a clicking noise, more pronounced immediately after startup, but audible when listening closely all the time. I took a short video and I am wondering if anyone has any quick ideas on potential root cause? Planning to swing by the dealership in a few days to get it checked out but would be great to have some ideas going in.

I cannot hear anything out of the ordinary…just the sound of the injectors clicking, which is perfectly normal.

 

Yep, most probably just the normal injector tick.
Maybe just maybe a little bit of worn SC coupler rattle.

 

Thanks! For some reason felt like the noise had gotten louder but probably one of those things that once you notice it then you can't stop!
