Default F-Type S-white coupes?

My wife has an extreme interest in a white S coupe with something other than a black interior. I’ve looked at most of the usual websites and what I’m finding is a ton of black on black and silver on black and red on black and so forth. Specifically looking for a 2017-2020 or so with 20k or so miles and a clean history and service records.

A V8 would be acceptable, but having a hard time locating a nice example in white with something other than a black interior. It’s like finding a Sasquatch riding a unicorn 🦄 thus far.

It looks like interior colors are primarily black with an accent color on the seating surfaces and door insets on the regular F-Types. Imperial has a '20 SVR with a mostly red leather interior but even it has some black bits. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ckType=listing

Or just a subtle bit of red?

Stunning, but was hoping to find an S around 35-40k. Tampa had black S and a white base model, 2017-2018 models with 20k. I think she’d have taken the black one at the right price. You know—they advertise a price and then try to add on like 2k worth of dealer fees that aren’t disclosed until you get serious. Frustrating as always.

Seems like that red is on the newer cars. https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ckType=listing

White Coupe with the white/black interior. I added the armrests myself. Looks great in person. My wife calls it the “Tuxedo”

Perhaps, if you find a car with the interior she likes, why not just wrap it in white?

That's a good suggestion. You could get a nice satin white wrap, it'd look fantastic. Personally I would try for a black car to wrap, I think it would look better on the bits that arent done eg under the bonnet etc.

That looks great as well.

She currently has an XF portfolio edition from 2012
and it has a brown and tan interior that looked great. It’s beyond me why people pay all this money for Ftypes and have these basic black interiors.

The Tampa dealer said a wrap was like 3-4k, which was sort of off putting. Was trying to keep this in the 35-40k range. I find low mileage examples, but the black interiors and hideous black rims seem
to prevalent.

The quality of the leather in the R trim is anything but basic. Go sit in one.

IMO, all-black is preferred because it allows the physical design of the interior to be displayed in the most pleasing visual proportions.

Ian Callum knew what he was doing.

Yeah it is more charcoal, and if it is nice leather it is really classy. Needs good trim though, some I think look a little cheap but the can be replaced

My two cents: I wouldn't let interior color prevent me from an otherwise excellent choice. The interior can be replace or recovered by a competent upholsterer.

Or got used to! My previous XKR came with a caramel interior that I wasn't too keen on initially but the overall car was too good to pass up. I really loved the look by the time I (somewhat regretfully) parted with it for the F-Type. Actually, it grew on me within weeks!

Odd how everyone’s preference is so different. I love the Jags in white but quite actively dislike the tan interiors with white cars. Black or blue or red or heck, any color with the tan is fine. Except white. Outside of my aversion to putting it in white cars, I don’t disagree with the luxurious look of the tan leather but I prefer the sportiness of the black. With the full leather package it is a sweet place to be.

GLWS!

White exterior, red interior and red brake calipers works really well in my opinion.

Then again, it depends on the quality of the leather. Tan is generally beautiful with BRG, dark blues, burgundy, brown, and black. Of course, a super high quality tan leather interior looks good with pretty much anything [except silver].

Check out a Daytona Ferrari [or any RR/Bentley from back in the day] in white/tan. Really nice!
