I count 27 different colors available on the 2021 models. 2 solid, 8 metallic, 2 Premium Metallic, 14 SVO Premium Palette and 1 Special Effect. They can add a substantial premium to the cost depending upon your choice and I would be scared to death that many of them would be about impossible to match should you need a touch up or minor damage repair.
I'm good with the choices in Metallic for a $710 extra charge.
This was an old interview when the car was released. I am buying used, so new colours are not relevant for me. But I agree with you, new colours are much better and variable.
After another investigation to our colour dilemas I have found that on cars with aluminum roof, the chrome around windows is not necessary to show its shape. It is probably the black roof that somewhat blends with the side profile.
This looks epic to me, and also without the black roof you can see how narrow is the front window and the whole car looks lower/sportier/space-ship like. I am 99% sure I will go this way.
